Loz Goddart - Mimic

Loz Goddart - Mimic
5 and dime recordings

release date 27-6-2012

Manchester, England's Loz Goddard is a relatively new name in the international deep house scene. That being said, he's quickly making a name for himself as a producer and DJ with releases on C!Boutique, a forthcoming release on DeepWit Recordings, and his first EP with 5 and Dime Recordings. Mimic [5D009] features two of Goddard's finest original tracks in Move Back and the EP's title cut, Mimic. Reminiscent of early Circulation works, the original mixes of Mimic and Move back feature finely layered and heavily textured synths alongside steady grooving basslines and wonderful percussion. Loz Goddard is a name to keep on your radar, as this young talent is poised for continued success with what's becoming his definitive sound.Mimic also features two standout remixes from Egypt's Omar Fayyad, a name synonymous with deeper than deep dreamlike originals and remixes, as well as a chuggy, tech laden remix of Move Back from 5 and Dime Recordings' Quin. All in all, Mimic is packed with awesome from 3 international deep house talents who stand out well on their own; but combine on Mimic to form one hell of an EP. Similar to Voltron, only in a musical sense.
