Sasha Makin & Suntetic requires little introduction. Without-a-doubt one of the most in demand and respected producers to emerge in the last couple of years in Russia, their distinctive and powerful productions for many labels have left an indelible mark across the electronic scene. It is then with great pride and much excitement that we present this four-track EP on Vincent Inc's true deep house label Toto. The feel of all four tracks is characterized by an otherworldly deepness that many will recognizable as a trait of SCSI-9's productions, however even within this record the ever shape-shifting producer display more examples of his almost boundless adaptability. Adopted a dark and mysterious cloak of robot funk, The Drumatik and Take the Light explore the far reaches of deep, spacey tech house; combining shunting rhythms, undulating bass and haunting harmonics. River talk goes the other way, taking the classic Chicago template and morphing it into a thoroughly modern yet simply arranged house cut; the low-slung kick drum driven along by dramatic strings and nasty acid stabs.
