Mr Fresh’s first full outing on Shelving explores a broad spectrum of deepness from the wonderfully joyous and soulful lead track ‘Underground Rain’, through to the deliciously deep mood of ‘Winter Sun’. On ‘She’s’, 70’s deep funk collides head on with glitched out electro to explosive effect and the surprisingly understated ‘Bastard’ heads in a moodier direction while building a subtle funk groove.
