Leeds' Mike De Costa helms 5 and Dime Recordings' latest release, the Last Breath EP, which brings a mixture of deep, funk, dub, and tech together quite nicely. With releases on Ambiosphere, Nu Era and Moxi Records followed alongside tracks by some of his favourite producers such as Chus and Tony Thomas, De Costa brings his wealth of experience and innovative sound to the EPs three original cuts on 5D012. With nearly two decades of DJing and more recently production experience under his belt, De Costa's varied influences and love for a blend of genres are ever present in his originals on this release.Complemented by stellar and unique remixes from Pleasurewave and Rubberlips, we're pleased to have Mike on board as part of the 5 and Dime family.
