The spirit of 90's style house is in full force on Cosmic Disco Records' latest drop. Fresh production duo Raw Underground live up to their name with hard hitting, soulful and over all jacking house sounds in their Don't Make Me Wait EP. With two remixes by the label's own Zweistein and Jon Billick, the entire four track package is a new homage to the old school dance floor.
'Body Talk' celebrates Raw Underground's commitment to classic flavored house with uplifting and bright vocals with a raw, garage influenced groove. Jon Billick returns to the imprint laying down his version of 'Body Talk', changing the heavier feel of the original by adding more modern deep house sounds and reverberating keys.
A joyous and soulful celebration of traditional ballad style piano riffs and clattering hat patterns, 'Don't Make Me Wait' drifts in time with yet another uplifting and bright vocal for the summer season. Complimenting the original mix, label bosses Zweistein provide a playful and more jazz inspired rendition with bouncy percussion.
All four tracks represent a wide spectrum of true house groove. From the very early to peak time DJs, this release leaves something to be enjoyed by all.
