It has been nearly 6 years since Sounds of Earth started publishing outstanding releases. We are very close to our 60th now and it is time to celebrate with another marvelous compilation. Vazik, Sounds of Earth’s label manager and recognized as “Best DJ of the Year” in Mexico on 2011-2012, has made an exceptional work selecting the gems for this musical journey. Secret Weapons is all about new and fresh tunes, together with some of the label’s clandestine arsenal already released in the past, these 22 gems combo rocks!

Artists like Florian Meindl, Perfect Stranger, Aerodroemme, Rob Hes, Rodskeez, Francesco Pico, etc., contribute to this wonderful package. The essence of it is dance floor music, from deep house to techno, from tech house to progressive. Is all about dancing and enjoying good quality music. ABOUT SOUNDS OF EARTH
Sounds of Earth was born on November 11 in the year 2000 with an unforgettable open air party in Mexico City called under the same name. This event marked a new era in the electronic music scene in Mexico, gathering more than 2000 people and collecting an excellent vibe on the dancefloor, a vibe that keeps going in all our events.

Since it all begun Sounds of Earth has been growing in many aspect s. Not only because of producing excellent indoor and outdoor events with the cream of international and national artists, but more because we have consolidated Mexico’s best artists roster. Each performer we have selected to join us has found and developed their own style in a mature and particular way. From festivals to clubs, you can always feel the difference when there is one of our artists in the stage.

On 2007, Vazik (the label head) started Sounds of Earth Records. A digital label that has released the finest tunes that comes out from Mexico and worldwide. Always looking for fresh tunes and mostly focusing on everything that is between progressive and techno. The label has quickly grown and most of the tunes are in mouth and cases of Top Djs worldwide.

A thing is certain, it has been 10 years since it all started, but for us every time we are on the stage it feels like it is the first day and we will give our best.

Victor Ezcurdia is one of the best known and respected Dj´s in the electronic music scene in México. With more than 15 years of experience, he has played in several festivals, clubs, etc. in more than 12 different countries all over the world.  Awarded as "Best DJ of the Year" in México in 2004-2005 and 2011-2012. Label manager of Sounds of Earth.
