The latest instalment from Deep Site Recordings is the When Night Sounds EP by Spanish producer Felipe L, with remixes from the excellent Deephope (Spain), Karmine Rosciano (Italy) and Nando Muro (Spain)Felipe’s original mix is a slow building atmospheric deep house track with synth stabs and a great rolling bassline that would shake any dancefloor whereas Deephopes rework is a slower funk laden affair with live sounding drums and percussion with clean tech sounds and a nicely twisted vocal cutting through to great effect. Next up is Karmine Roscianos excellent bass heavy remix with driving beats, warm chords and a looped vocal, perfect late night sounds indeed, finally in Nando Muros clever reinterpretation of  the original we hear a jazzy fused house number with an infectious funky bassline and percussion to match that just oozes summer vibes. With the When Night Sounds EP we get four truly varied mixes from different areas of the house arena. Who could ask for more?
