Dexter Ford first debuted as a Liquid Music artist on Drops with the single entitled Rubba, a single that really caught our attention and the culprit that ignited the interest by us in this extremely talented producer championed by so many in the past two years. It only seem fitting we revitalize the single that started it all here, with the compiling of the remix single. It was a challenge in it of itself to whom who would commission the task of bringing a new perspective and twist to the original which we hold in high esteem.The after careful thought we sanctioned the remixing duties to Blurred, The italian duo which has delivered in the past few months remixes and originals which we simply have found to be utterly versatile and innovative in their own right, and they just did not disappoint with their Tech House rendition of Rubba.On the B-side we went to our Minimalist guru, also hailing from Italy but based in Australia. Eike Voigt, yet another name whom has been championed by many over the past two years, now also head of his Inversion Recordings imprint is the man behind the Minimal remix included in this pack, and is easily another boundary pushing production by Eike as we have come to know him for.
