Deepologic - Music In My Head

DSS 011 is our second issue of 2014 and also our second release from DEEPOLOGIC on the label. “Music In My Head” is a heavy handed and dark psychedelic journey through the 4am tech-house mindset. Moody clouds of shifting pads, minor chord laden keys, coupled with precious layering underpinned by tight drum work. The first remix is by a new duo called ACID HEADS, which is comprised of Funtom and Terry Vernixx. Their deep tech take on this is tailor made for those who like their sound hauntingly melodic with harder tech beats and acidic stabs. The Richard Scholtz & Pushee Remix takes a spectral house approach with funky percussive edges and newly added synths over the recapitulated original’s evocative pads. Finally, the Patrick Turner Dub takes it back to a darker ominous approach with pulsing drumwork and a throbbing bassline wrapped around sliding gliding keyboards.
