Stratum started to make his own sounds using DOS-based software called Impulse Tracker releasing on ‘demoscene’ together with his mates hackers and coders in the mid 90s. Later on his musical preferences leaned towards experimental electronica as well as deep and minimal techno. In 00’s he played in local clubs and maintained underground techno internet radio station ‘hitechno.net’.
He always has been interested in elements of randomness involved in music production process, playing with algorithmic software and hardware feedback chains.
His music is often inspired by his passion for traveling and discovering new places and cultures.Currently Stratum resides in Moscow and combines music composition with some other things he loves, for instance internet radio for friends www.cloudscanspeak.net
