Share Records is delighted to announce the release of 3Kilo aka Ravil and his "Rubber Dance" EP. The pounding beat of "life" is twinned with a swung percussive section that fizzes its way atop a deep growling, intermittent bass stab and high-pitched pizzicato motif. Strong tribal percussive grooves form the backdrop for "In The Night". The title track provides a deep, lazy groove continues the rhythmic themes of its predecessor but a sustained and gradually modulated pad provides a pensive air as it occasionally shifts its chord shape. Every nuance can be heard as the melodic elements drift away to leave a collage of complex beats and rhythms in the final movement. This EP is an impressive tour de force that epitomises Ravil's musical roots. With a trio of deep house tacks to his name, 3Kilo's "Rubber Dance" represents a body of work formed from the very foundations of musical ingenuity.
