Nikola’s love and addiction to music were born and raised together with him. His father was a musician. He played guitar and bass. So Nikola’s childhood was full of live sounds of guitar and bass.
First interesting sounds in his life appeared during so-called “live translations” on police and trucker`s radio channels. Nikola was playing and recording music on the tape decks together with his neighbor. Stopping of the tape helped them to create interesting sounds and music effects during recording. These music experiments made Nikola Negorod famous in his home-town.
Now for music creation Nikola uses the analog, modular and VST synthesizers, different music instruments combining this with digital technologies. Music inspiration comes from classical musicians and rare music tracks which Nikola has in his vinyl collection.
First appearance on a scene was in 2011 as an arranger-keyboardist together with Ksenia Kamikaza.
In 2012 Nikola became a member of Platz für Tanz label which includes many famous Latvian artists. Duet Esoniq+Negorod became famous with live performances in house and techno music-styles.
Nowadays Nikola Negorod plays live performances and publishes his music on different music labels.
