The sophomore Late Night Running effort is drenched with thriving drums, swinging basslines and adventurous melodies. 2 original cuts by US deephouse stalwart ''DJ Aakmael'' and french, man of the moment Anaxander are nicely complimented by rewords from the likes of Sly Fox Records founder ''Appian'' and ''Finale Sessions'' head honcho ''Michael Zucker''.
The A side cut is a jazzed out theme by Dj Aakmael that is drenched with smooth vocal licks and an infectious drum patterns that is somewhat reminiscent of traditional jazz swing music. Appian follows up with a slice of shuffly goodness that tears apart the original version for a more dubby approach. Anaxander opens up the B side with ''My People'' a track that contains rugged drums mixed up with jazzy melodies and some otherworldly synth work.
Michael Zucker closes down the ''Split Series'' with some straight forward house music.
