Summertime is here, so it’s time for some brand new vinyl from Deep Site Vinylized! For DSV003, we present four impeccable soulful house tracks courtesy of Istanbul’s ‘Sinan Kaya’ (Kolour/Apparel/Beef Rec/Skylax)
The title track to this EP, What I Want, a summer House groover that utilizes lush keys, funk guitar, and rubber-bass with a classic soulful jazz groove and vocal sample that some may recall from back in the day
For the first remix its a real pleasure to welcome Portugal’s ‘Djazzy‘ (Buzzin Fly/Stir15/Raw Cutz) who opens things up supremely with layered thumping drums, B-3 organ stabs, and a subterranean bassline.
The second remix of What I Want comes from Hungary’s superb artist, that is ‘Forteba’ (Plastic City/Ready Mix/Sol Recordings), who takes it to the cosmic psychedelic disco by way of pure dancefloor vibes.
The original second track, Lazy, breaks into Chicago house territory using an underpinned organ line, beautiful vibe stabs, and solid percussion work…..four flavours of summer on offer here, each with its own distinctive mood and texture….for your pleasure!
