Yamil Colucci - Himym

Release Date:
October 23rd 2017 (Beatport Exclusive)
November 6th 2017 (Worldwide)

Causing quite a stir when it was first featured on our Miami WMC 2017, Yamil Colucci’s 'Himym' now gets its own release on Ready Mix, complete with brand new remixes from Onur Ozman, Peter Makto & Gregory S. and Spennu.

Already finding favor with discerning DJs such as Ilias Katelanos, Sonomic from Architects of Paradise, DJ19, Kiano & Below Bangkok and Harlem Knights, the original version of 'Himym' is a deep, string laden musical journey with a silky smooth bassline and a subtle yet compelling groove.

Taking a somewhat darker turn, highly regarded Turkish producer Onur Ozman delivers a tense deep tech rework, densely packed with brooding atmospheres and metallic synths. Formidable deep house duo Peter Makto & Gregory S. are up next, taking 'Himym' into hypnotic and expansive territory, sure to provoke some transformative experiences on the dance-floor. Finally Sezer Uysal tackles the track in his 'Spennu' guise, crafting an exquisite deep house version, perfect for more relaxed, reflective moments.

Described (rightly in our opinion) as a 'winner' by respected electronic music site 'Progressive-World.at', ’Himym’ is also lovingly mastered by Rob Small in the UK.

dharkfunkh & Vanilla Ace - New School Vintage

UK artist Vanilla Ace returns to Daylight Robbery, joining forces this time with none other than dharkfunkh. With previous releases on a variety of labels such as Suara, Spinnin' Deep, Toolroom and Glasgow Underground to name a few, we are delighted to have them on board with their 'New School Vintage' EP. Remixes come courtesy of Roush Label artist Atove and Great Stuff Freedomb, who both join DRR by bringing their signature sound to the label.
